Since Otto has to leave his jobs, friends and family behind (right after the election) to carry out his military duty in Baghdad, he feels awful having to saddle his family with a big campaign debt of more than $200K as a result of going through two races (including the run-off race) during his recent bid for county supervisor seat.  Otto ran a very courageous close race in a positive and respectful manner.
